William “Bill” Davis (November 13, 1950 - May 23, 2025)
Bill Davis, a proud Marine veteran and contractor, passed away peacefully at home in Elk Grove on May 23, 2025, at the age of 74, surrounded by his beloved dog, Bobby. Bill was a father to two children and stepfather to two other children. All of them became friends after road trip adventures.
Bill was known for his love of pranks, comedy films, and a good laugh. Whether it was enjoying water sports on his homemade boat, taking walks in nature, or riding his bike, Bill always embraced life with a sense of adventure. He had a particular fondness for birds, especially geese.
One of his most memorable pranks involved placing a candy bar in a public pool at WaterWorld, creating a funny moment for his children as others reacted to the ‘unexpected’ discovery.
In addition to his children and stepchildren, Bill is survived by friends and family who will carry on his legacy of embracing laughter and adventure.
