Susan Ellen Gibbs was born the second child to Norman Gibbs and Hilda “Brooks” Moe on August 16, 1951.  The family lived in Sacramento before moving to Wilton.  There she continued growing up and attended Elk Grove schools.  She graduated from Elk Grove High School in 1969.

Susie had four kids, Christina, Joseph, Valerie, and Rudy.  She worked at Blue Diamond Almond Growers for many years before going to school and becoming a registered nurse.  She retired from nursing from Kaiser Permanente. In 2014.

Before passing, Susie met Arturo Espejo and married.  Then got to have the little farm she always wanted with a garden, goats, ducks, and chickens.

We will always love you and miss you, mom.
