Richard Lewis Mitte passed away at his home surrounded by his family on October 10, 2023, at the age
of 81.
Richard was born on March 26, 1942, in Fresno CA, to Truman and Frances Mittie, and later made his
home in Galt, CA for the last 51 years.
His trade of work was a Welder and Mechanic.
Richard enjoyed fishing, hunting, boating, camping, and motorcycle riding.
Richard is survived by his Wife Nancy, Son Raymond (Sharlene) Mittie, Daughter Katrina (Gaylen)
Tackett, Karen Mittie Grandson Levi Hill (Laura) Granddaughter Genna Mittie (Ari) Grandson Brandon
Tackett (Mariah), Sister Fran Monroe (Ronnie) Sister Marie Mittie, Sister Rosie Violet (Glen).
Preceding him in death his parents Trueman and Frances Mittie, brothers Jim and Charlie Mittie, as
well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
