REBECCA A BALLESTEROS

Rebecca “Reba” Ballesteros passed away March 4, 2025, in Sacramento at the age of 91. To many of her nieces and nephews she was known as “Tia Vecca”.

She was born on February 04, 1934, to Edwardo and Clementina Avila. Rebecca grew up in the small community of Acampo. She was a homemaker, she also loved traveling, camping and sewing. She really enjoyed sitting with her sisters and friends chatting over a cup of coffee and a piece of Mexican bread.

She will be missed by her son Robert and grandson Nick.

She is survived by her loving sisters, Florence Tapia, Terry Rivera, brothers Roy Avila, Eddie Avila and Walter Avila.

Rebecca was preceded in death by her parents Edward and Clementina Avila, sisters Josie Garza, Eva Volanos, Gloria Robles and brother Joe Avila. She will also be missed by many nephew and nieces and many longtime friends.
