Quinton J. Barquist passed away on April 09, 2023 in Galt, CA at the age of 86 with his loved ones by his
side. Quinton was born on February 04, 1937, in CA to Raymond and Mary Barquist.
Quinton enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, archery, working in his shop engineering many useful items.
He also enjoyed gardening and just being outdoors. He also enjoyed Radio Controlled Airplanes and
Helicopters.
Quinton served in the Armed Forces from September 1958 until November 1962.
He is survived by his wife Rose Barquist, son Glen and wife Charlene Barquist, Aaron and wife Toshia
Barquist, step sons Gregory Pittman, six grandchildren, Gianna Jarrett, Joshua, Miya, Kyle Kendra and
many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by Christopher Pittman.
Graveside services with Military Honors will be held at Galt Cemetery in Galt, CA on April 25, 2023, at
10:30 AM.
Following the service there will be a gathering at the Barquist family residence at 13589 Cherokee Lane,
Galt, CA.
