Michael Alstrum Obituary

Michael B. Alstrum was born on February 26, 1955 to Allie and Jack Alstrum in Sacramento, CA & passed away at the age of 66, due to natural causes on January 14, 2022 in Galt, CA.

Mr. Alstrum was a long time resident of Galt, CA where he worked as a mechanic & construction worker before retiring as a local business owner (The Hardware Store). A Past-President of the Galt Rotary, he loved to serve his community and was an avid hunter, fisherman & outdoorsmen. He also enjoyed being the life of the party at his BBQ’s and fireworks shows.

Surviving Mr. Alstrum are, brother and sister; Linda Edwards (Rescue), Stan Alstrum (Escondido), son, Jeremy Alstrum (Galt), daughters, Melissa Mitchell (Missouri), Amy Hill (Sacramento), Six grandchildren, two step-daughters and nine step-grandchildren.

In lieu of tree or flowers, the family would prefer donations to the Rotary Club of Galt.
