LARRY JAMES MARTIN

Larry James Martin passed away on September 18th, 2024, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on November 14th, 1956, to James and Cora Martin in Rochester, New York, he moved to California at a young age. Larry graduated from Lincoln High School in Stockton, CA, in 1975. He was a passionate music enthusiast/collector and avid sports fan, always cheering for his beloved teams: the San Francisco Giants, Los Angeles Rams, and Los Angeles Lakers. Over the past decade, he dedicated himself to public service as a bus driver, forming lasting connections with many passengers who cherished his kindness. His absence will be deeply felt by all who had the privilege to know him.

Larry leaves behind his devoted wife of 40 years, Lori Martin; his children, Alison Martin and Melanie Cathey; grandchildren, Lynnwood and Evangeline Cathey; his sister, Donna Grigsby; and nieces Megan Titus and Heather Grigsby. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Cora Martin.
