Josefina Jimenez Obituary

On September 18, 2022, with her children at her side, Josefina Jimenez went home to Jesus.

Josefina was born on April 17, 1932 to Jacovo and Manuela Jimenez in Calvillo, Aguascalintes Mexico. She was a compassionate Registered Nurse in Mexico City, but later immigrated to the United States and became a US citizen in 1971. She continued her studies at Sacramento City College, earned a degree in Social Science and became a caring and understanding Eligibility Worker for the Sacramento County Welfare Department.

As a single mom, she dedicated her life to raising her two children Marina and Mario. She was selfless in everything she did for her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and extended family. Josefina often encouraged others to be their best and made you feel valued and loved. She will be remembered by everyone she touched.
