Jordan Blake Stribling

Jordan Blake Stribling was born 6/20/1986 and entered rest on 4/30/2023. He was a resident of Galt his
entire life. Jordan had many health complications being Type 1 Diabetic since age 7. He attended
Seventh Day Adventist School and Galt Elementary. He graduated from Galt High School. Words cannot
express how much we will all feel his absence, and miss his kindness, generosity and love for life and we
will cherish the memories and legacy he has left.
Jordan Blake had an amazing soul. His long lifelong passion was dedication to music, and it was
impeccable. He was very gifted and talented and by age 3 was shining in performances and by age 5, he
was rocking a microphone and had his first concert. He worked hard to bring his best work to his fans,
first and foremost.
He followed his dream and became an amazing writer, producer, and performer. His following was
worldwide. He and his band mates toured across America, Canada, and Japan doing performances. He
never met a stranger and always took time to interact with his fans, that he loved like family. As one of
his band mates said, “His Charisma was off the charts”. He truly has a connection with his fans and
impacted so many people’s lives through his gift of music. He was a trailblazer and is a legend in his
genre of emo/post hard core music.
Jordan was preceded in death by his mother Dawnja L (Washburn) Stribling, his fiancé Jacquelynn L.
Dettra, Grandfathers Donald A. Powell and Jack D. Washburn.
He is survived by his father, Jasen J. Stribling, sister Ciera D. Stribling, Nana Trish Powell and
grandparents Michael and Karen Stribling. Uncles, Erik (Beth) Washburn, Derrick (Debbie) Washburn,
Chris (Michelle) Burton, Aunt Kari (Steve) Roesler. Cousins, Joshua Washburn, Dylan Washburn, Mason
Washburn, Devyn Roseler and Cliff Burton. Numerous Aunts and Uncles and Cousins and Worldwide Fan
Base.

Memorial Services will be private. A Tribute Concert will be announced later.
