Jesus Hernandez Ruiz

Jesus Hernandez, was born on May 13, 1925 in Zacatecas, Mexico to Benjamin Hernandez and Francisca Ruiz. He is preceded in death by his wife Petra of 76 years of marriage, his daughter Margarita Rodriguez, grandsons Julian Gonzalez Jr., Jesse Hernandez Jr., granddaughter Jessica Hernandez, and great grandson Jesus Lomeli.

He died at home with all his family around him. Jesus came to this country as a bracero, and lived in Juarez until he emigrated in 1961, he lived in New Mexico for about 4 years after he brought his family with him in 1962. He than moved to Kingsburg, Ca. in 1965, and in August of that year moved to Walnut Grove where they lived until January of 1972. They then moved to Galt where he established his home, and pass away. He worked as a farm worker and cannery in Thornton, Ca.  

He is survived by his daughters Teresa Gonzales, Gloria Rodriguez and Rosa Lomeli. Sons Jesus Jr., Manuel, Miguel, David, Armando and Javier Hernandez. 26 Grandchildren, 30 Great Grandchildren and 8 Great Great Grandchildren.
