About Jay:

Jay was a man of many talents but one of his greatest joys was spending time with his family,

friends and talking to people. No matter where he was, you could always count on him to get

into a conversation with a stranger.

He never seemed in a hurry to get through life, instead he liked to live it at his own pace. Like a turtle!

If you asked him, he would say that he had the patience of Job.

He was a teacher, who taught his children many things growing up, like the importance of honesty,

Hard work & respect. He taught them how to play football & cook. His grandkids were the light of his

eyes, he loved being a “Pa”.

He delighted in scaring people. He never threw anything away because he knew he could either fix it

or sell it. He was always right but sometimes left. He was a kid at heart until football was on, then it was

all about the game. Most importantly, no one can touch the beard.
