Jane Lambson passed away on April 23, 2026, surrounded by love and the comfort of many prayers in her final days.
She was born on February 2, 1937, in St. Louis, Missouri, to Herbert and Lillian Steiger, where she was raised. In 1964, Jane moved to California, where she made her home in the Galt and Lodi areas for the remainder of her life.
Jane found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She loved watching western television programs, sewing, and cross-stitching. She took great pride in creating quilted, cross-stitched blankets for each of her great-grandchildren—gifts that will be cherished for generations.
Her greatest joy, however, was her family, who will miss her deeply.
Jane is survived by her two sisters, Judy Ahlstrand and JoAnn Monje; her seven children: Skip (Edda) Jenkerson, Ken (Cheryl) Jenkerson, Betty Price, Carol Singmaster, Lois (Brian) Jones, Margie (Larry) Sauseda, and Diane (Mark) Null; as well as four stepchildren. She also leaves behind 30 grandchildren, 60 great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Harry Jenkerson, David Siplinger, and Gene Lambson; her sons-in-law, Ron Price, Rick Singmaster, and Steve Gray; as well as a stepdaughter and a step-granddaughter.
Jane will be laid to rest at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery.
