Obituary of Jane Ann Kenefick

Jane Ann Kenefick of Galt, California passed away at home peacefully at the age of 77, surrounded by her loving family. Jane was born in Sacramento, California on January 10, 1967, to Cliff Lewis and Mary Jane Compton. Jane married her loving husband, Mike, on September 30, 1967. They welcomed 2 children, Kelly and Kristi to their family. Jane and Mike settled on their ranch in Galt where they raised their family and celebrated many holidays, parties and brandings.

Jane was a homemaker and ran the Kenefick Sand and Gravel for years along side her loving husband Mike. Earlier in life, Jane was an active supporter of Herald 4-H Club, Galt FHA and sports events. She was honored to serve as a member of the Arcohe School Board for 7 years. Jane enjoyed traveling and vacationing with her family and friends. Jane “Nana” will be greatly missed by many.

Jane is survived by her husband of 57 years, Mike Kenefick, son, Kelly (Angie) Kenefick, daughter Kristi (Jack) Dalton, grandchildren, Kimberly (Chance) Denier, Katie Dalton and great-grandchildren Lane Denier.

Jane will be laid to rest on Monday, January 27, 2025.

St. Christopher’s Catholic Church, 950 S. Lincoln Way, Galt, at 10:00 a.m.

Celebration of life gathering will follow at Champaign Ranch, 12174 Borden Rd, Herald.
