Gary Coggin

Gary Lynn Coggin passed away on April 5, 2022, he was 78 years. He was born on February 9, 1945, to Elder and Zella Coggin.

Gary graduated Loyalton High School in 1963. He joined the Navy in 1965, and served until 1969 om Vietnam. After the Navy, Gary started working for Pacific Bell from 1969 until hos retirement. He graduated with his Associate of Science degree from Humphreys college in 1976.

In June, at 1966 he married Sharon Lewis and they had two children. Kim and Shawn they divorced in 1993.

On June 2, 2001, Gary married Cindy Frazier. They enjoyed traveling to Hawaii, Disneyland and their many trips to the coast. Out of all his accomplishments, traveling, and adventures he had in his life Gary always said his greatest Joy was being “Papa” to his grandkids.

Gary is survived by, Son; Shawn Coggin, Step Sons; Jimmy (Karon) Frazier, Chad Frazier, Bryan Frazier, Brothers; Dennis (Shirley) Coggin, Bill (Sharon) Coggin, Sister; Deborah Grandchildren; Mackenzie, Wyatt, Cassidy and Hayley Frazier.

Gary Coggin is Preceding him in death was his wife; Cindy Frazier Coggin, Daughter; Kim Coggin and Parents Elder and Zella Coggin.

A private service will be held at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery in Dixon on June 23, 2022 at 9:00 am. There will be a gathering at Chad Frazier’s afterwards at 11701 Quiggle Rd in Herald.
