In Loving Memory of Delfino Perez

August 1, 1963 – June 27, 2026

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Delfino Perez, who entered eternal rest on June 27, 2026, at the age of 62. Surrounded by the love of his family, Delfino passed peacefully at home with his loved ones by his bedside.

Delfino was born on August 1, 1963, in Baja California, Mexico. He spent his childhood growing up in Courtland California where he loved to play football with his brothers, he later moved to Galt where he built a life centered on family and friendship.

Above all else, Delfino loved his family. He was a devoted father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, and friend whose quiet strength, kindness, and uncensored sense of humor touched everyone who knew him. He found joy in life's simple pleasures like casting a fishing line, spending time at the park playing horseshoes, and cheering on his favorite sports teams. Whether it was watching the Minnesota Vikings on Sundays or rooting for the Sacramento Kings, he was always happiest when surrounded by family and friends sharing the excitement and competitiveness of the game.

Delfino is lovingly survived by his children, Anthony Perez, Rachael & Benny Loya, and Mariah Perez; his stepchildren, Amber Deason, Heather & Carlos Paz, and Brandi Deason; and his cherished grandchildren, Alex, Joseph, Cameron, Hunter, Elijah, Neveah, Jessie, Jordyn, Emma, Waylon, Lily, and Maceo.

He is also survived by his loving mother, Paula Perez; his siblings; Rosa Gutierrez, Jose Perez, Augustine Perez, Lupe & Maria Perez, Luis & Rosa Perez, and Pete & Andrea Perez; along with many beloved nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will forever treasure his memory.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jose Perez; his sister, Sofia Sanchez; his brother-in-law, Jaime Gutierrez; grandmother, Porfira Narranjo, and his beloved granddaughter, Isabella.

Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort knowing Delfino's legacy lives on through the family he loved and the memories he leaves behind. His love, strength and sense of humor will never be forgotten.
