CAROL JEAN PEART

Carol Jean Peart, age 80, of Galt, passed away peacefully on October 5th,
2023, with her daughters by her side after a 10-year battle with
Alzheimer’s. She was born in Rice Lake, Wisconsin on May 2, 1943, to
George and Lillian King.
At a young age, Carol and the family moved west to Stockton,
California. Carol went on to graduate from Stagg High School and
shortly thereafter, met the love of her life, Nick Peart. They married in
1964 and Carol began her life as a devoted wife and mother. In 1975,
Nick and Carol made their final move and called Galt home.
Carol was employed by Valley Veterinary/Doc Low in Galt for over 30
years and prior to retirement in 2008, Carol and Nick managed Elk
Grove Storage. Her pastime also included sewing, knitting, and taking
time to smell the flowers.
She is survived by her daughters, Dion Peart of Sacramento and Shawn
Jacobs of Galt, her sisters, Rosalyn Buster and Aletha Rodriguez, of
Stockton. She is preceded in death, by her husband Nick Peart, son in
law, Peter Jacobs, parents George & Lillian King, brothers, John &
George, and sisters, Marie & Judy.
A Memorial Service will be held at Galt Bible Church (Recreation Room)
at 801 Church St, Galt on Tuesday, November 21st at 11:30AM.
Carol loved her flowers in her garden. The family would like if you would
