ALICE ESPERANZA (LUNA) HERRERA

Alice Herrera, 86, a long-time resident of Galt, passed from this life and into the arms of her Savior on July 8. 2024. Alice was born on September 29, 1937 in California.

Alice worked as an upholstery appraiser for husband, Ernie, in their upholstery shop on C Street in Galt for many years before Ernie retired.

Alice is preceded in death by her husband Ernest Herrera (Ernie) and her son Ernie Herrera Jr.

She is survived and missed by her four daughters, Erlinda De Herrera, Susan Thomas, Lisa Gibson (Greg) Christine Morrison (Martin) and also by her son, Andrew Herrera.

She will also be missed by her eight grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren as well as two sisters, one brother and other family members and friends too numerous to count.

A celebration of life service will be held for Alice on Sunday, July 28 at 4 pm at the First Baptist Church, 653 A Street, Galt, CA 95632.
