About Us

The chapel for Ben Salas Funeral Home was built in the late 1890’s and survived many different businesses, even as a wedding chapel. The chandeliers had been imported from France and are still in the chapel. Ben Salas purchased the property in early 1950’s, remodeled and built the offices. The funeral home has been remodeled several times, but still has the original brick chapel building. Jose Luis Ayala Sr.  has Purchased BSFH in 2021, He proudly carry on the family name and caring service that Ben offered. We are a family affair. He also Own and operate two other mortuaries in Stockton CA, Stockton Funeral Home and Valley Funeral Home. Isabel Rodriguez which stayed on board with the transition, has been with the Ben Salas Funeral Home since 2009. Our goal is to provide excellent care for the families we serve.
